THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE
Considered by many to be the benchmark of British mountain climbing. The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24hrs. The 3 Peaks are Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m), and Mount Snowdon (1,085m).
We will typically travel from London to Fort William on a Friday, starting the ascent of Ben Nevis on the Saturday morning, climbing Scafell Pike that night and finishing Snowdon on Sunday in Wales!
Whether as a individual, with friends, or a group, for personal endeavour or charity, our expert team will ensure you have the best possible experience.
This is a tough, challenging, but ultimately rewarding event and those participating should have the necessary fitness and also be prepared to do without much sleep! We aim to complete the event in 24 hours – to achieve this time we need to complete Ben Nevis in 5 hours, Scafell Pike in 4 hours and Snowdon in 4 hours. The challenge is under the guidance of expert mountain leaders with many years mountain experience.
If you’d like to do The Three Peaks over a more relaxed time frame we also offer the 3 peaks 3 days option. Please contact our friendly team for more details.
